home currently under construction and bought in-wall Lc265i as a center, lc65i as fronts(pending) and lc60i as surrounds(pending) with psw10 sub-woofer(pending). In-wall wiring in place is Monster cable cl3 rated xphp in master bedroom of 17'x18'. I plan on placing sub-woofer in back corner of room, i have bought front 3 speaker brackets and my friend will do my performance enclosures with MDF. He will also make the 2 back surround speakers brackets and enclose them with MDF. My question is what else do i need apart from the receiver and cables. Do i need cross-overs, is my sub enough power, is this set-up good, etc. I would greatly appreciate any advice as i've spent enough already and would consider any alternatives. Thanks!

This sounds(pun intended) like a good bedroom home theater. I've got something similar, but I chose a larger subwoofer to augment the low freequencies.

You won't need cross-overs, as this is taken care of by the receiver. I would suggest getting a high quality receiver that can handle the load of the LC series. They have the same characteristics as the LSi series, which require a receiver to be able to handle 4 ohm speakers without a problem. Some suggestions would be B&K, NAD, Sunfire, Rotel, and a few others.

What display are you using with the system?

As far as additions to the system, I would suggest a Lutron Spacer remote dimming system. This is a relatively inexpensive component, and it is nice to be able to turn the lights off from bed, or when a movie starts.

Have you considered a universal remote for the system? If not, I would seriously consider one.

    Enjoy the system.

Cool, i plan on using a philips 42" 42pf7320a/37 plasma TV. Yeah i'm going to use universal remote and Lutron spacer would be nice compliment. Thanks for your input.
