I was reading an article earlier today saying that the original Playstation makes a phenomenal CD player.

It is interesting how they recommend you leave the system on all the time and allow it to sit powered up for three days before listening.

Any ideas as to why they have such great performance? Great DACs or something along those lines?

Seems like this guy might be relying on psychoacoustics a little too much. Haha. Anyone ever tried this?
