There aren't any 360 games I don't have that I want.
-
Ebay it!:)

You can't wait another week or two for some more must have games? (For the 360, that is)
Be patient. -
No, I'm just jonsing for Kate Beckinsale in HD. Sorry.
-
Now there's something that we agree on. Yep, you can't get vampire kate in HD on the 360. Although I might be tempted to put the ps3 on the bay as well, if you do get a look at the disk, be sure to tell us how she looks, er, I mean the PQ and such...;)
And I'm really enjoying the 360. Just completed GRAW and picked up GOW . -

Oh, we agree on lots based on your posts on other subject matters. We're just **** slapping each other over brand names.
Pretty effin' funny I have the PS3 & 360 now, and you have the 360. -

LOL. I just noticed that. LOL. -
The PS3 is a great system but as of right now the only game worth having is Resistance. A majority of the other games out are also available on 360 and the run better. I would honestly sell it and by the time you can walk into the store and pick one up there will be a lot more worthwhile games. This gen developers creating multi platform titles are going to be using the 360 as their base machine and then porting games over to the PS3. Just the opposite from last gen.// Panasonic AE8000 // Pioneer SC-57 // Polk Audio RTi A9 // Polk Audio CSiA6 //
// Polk Audio FXi A6 // SVS PB12-NSD Subwoofer // Logitech Harmony Ultimate // Pro-Ject Debut III //
// Oppo BDP-103 // Microsoft Xbox One Day One Edition // Sony Playstation 4 1TB SSHD // Nintendo Wii U //

Buy PS3. Wait for X-mas demand to build. Sell PS3. Profit.

I agree with others here that compared to the 2nd gen games on the 360, the launch titles on the ps3 aren't all that special. Resistance looks cool, but looks more like a 1st gen cross between COD2 and GOW. I'd say to really get the most out of the sony system you'll have to wait until the next crop of games come out.
Right now I've got GOW on my polk surround system on 1080i with the lights out. I have to shake it off for a while after each session it's so good.
And yeah, you've got my dream Christmas set-up, you ba$tard . -
Microsoft did a great job making sure the 360 had a very good launch line up, and with more great games to soon follow the launch (GRAW).
PS3 is less impressive in this aspect. -
I happened to be in Best Buy on Wednesday when their 2nd shipment came in. After getting trampled by crazed teenagers I dusted myself off and continued my CD shopping. After 15 minutes I noticed that there were more PS3s left than people in line, so I figured why not and wandered over. It turns out that the l33t 60GB models sold out first, and there were folks that wanted to hold out for the 60GB rather than get the 20GB. So I ended up with a 20GB for Blu-Ray playback.
For giggles I check out the available games (I'm not a gamer), saw the $60 pricetag and said "No effin' way!" I guess this one will be used only as a movie player (still half the price of any other Blu-Ray player out there other than the problem-laden Samsung). -
That's pretty interesting people holding out for the more expensive 60GB model. Since that model holds no advantage for the average gamer except for built in wireless networking. And that's only a convenience thing at best.
The 20 GB one just lacks the multimedia ports. I don't think there's anything that's gonna use that extra space on that drive in the near future, considering even with Live, the 360 only has a 20 GB drive.
Means the teenagers are opting for the most expensive machine available without a second thought... -

Heh, I don't know if teenagers can afford that thing. I don't know why Sony made a 'tard' pack for the PS3, it didn't work well for the 360.
It's just something about buying a crippled machine, whether it is or isn't, you're going to want the upgrades, and it's going to cost more than the the $600, so why bother? -
I would hardly call the 20GB version crippled. For your extra $100 all you're getting is 60GB instead of 20GB (since both are user-upgradeable, you're better off swapping in your own HD anyway -- if you're looking for more HD space to begin with you're more likely to want to put in a 160 or 200GB drive; 60 isn't enough of an increase over 20), media card slots for cameras and such, and wireless.
Both models have Blu-Ray, HDMI output, and an ethernet port. In my case, since it was purchased almost exclusively for BR playback, the 20GB version is fine and dandy. No need for me to spend the extra $100... -

Polksta...I think it would be a fine Blu-Ray player....but why did you not buy 2? You would have had a free blu-ray player...plus money in your pocket.....But glad to see yoyu got one...enjoy it!! -

I cannot believe people are still buying those for such high prices.
Best of luck on your auction though! :cool:

I don't understand it myself, but I think I would be an idiot if I didn't sell it because I couldn't wait a month if I really wanted one. It's like cashing in for having patience. -

Not unlike a doctor ?
The prices of PS3's on Craigslist here are starting to drop like a lead balloon.
Good luck on your auction, Demi.Sal Palooza -
I'll be more than happy to keep it. I'll be fine in the end either way. Didn't really buy it with the intent to sell it, but it made it easier
-
