For sale is a beautiful Acurus A125X5 5-channel amplifier in excellent condition. This amp is conservatively rated at 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 175 into 4 ohms. Excellent bang for the buck.

This amp has separate 2 channel and 3 channel sections - the stereo section has additional heat sink cooling to provide over 150 watts per channel for the two main front speakers. Very stable, great performer in high output situations. Made by Mondial Designs (Aragon), known for high quality. Made in the USA. Original retail price was $1,600.

Will sell for $550 plus shipping.

PayPal is preferred. I do not have the original box, but I will package it very well.

Instead of buying 2 new Outlaw monos, sell your Outlaw and buy this one. More amp channels and better sound for less money. Of course, that's my unbiased opinion.:p

    Watts don't mean squat.

You wanna buy what sounds good. You don't hear the specs. The Acurus has a cleaner sound, IMO. I used to own the Outlaw mono, so I'm just giving you my $0.02, FWIW.

Here's the deal -- whoever buys it first (or commits to buy) gets it.

    PM me if interested.

All watts correlate to is volume, plain and simple. If someone tells you the more power the better control or separation or soundstage has no idea what they're talking about. It's simple physics.

    With that, GREAT amp!

Great now I have to decide between a SVS 20-39+ and this amp. Then again I did collect quite a bit of money today, finally. I am really going to have to be nice to my wife.

    Buy the amp
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Absolutely. Mondial made some great amps. Your speakers are fine with the HK but this amp will sound better and you're set for future speaker upgrades.
