Need help with sub-woofer hook-up
Hi there - We are trying to set up our own "home theater" with what we have. Already in place are two in-ceiling speakers toward the back of the room which I placed in "B" speakers on our older Fischer receiver, and two bookshelf speakers which I put in the "A" speakers on the receiver. I was told I need a sub-woofer which could go anywhere in the room on the floor, but I cannot figure out where to put its wires on the receiver. Can the "A" inputs share more than one wire? Does a sub-woofer even have the typical speaker wires? As you can see, we aren't very knowledgeable in this area. We aren't after perfection, just a fun sound while watching a good movie. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes pity and responds. Kath

What you will need is a sub with speaker inputs and ouputs like the one in the picture below so then 1 set of wires go from the fisher to the sub and from the subs speaker level output you will attach the bookshelf speakers and that is the proper way to set it up................
