    Recieved the amp back today, calibrated and gave it a listen. The SDA effect is here in spades now, no distortion, a ton of headroom. Lots of listening goodness coming up.

    My only complaint is that Classic Carver used popcorn on the return pack. Got all over the house :mad: .

    nice amp i use a carver tfm-35x to push my sda srs 1.2 tls and my ears give up long before the amp does. not sure what he diffrence is if any between the tfm-35 and 35x versions are. i seen the pic that was posted looked like mine. REGARDS SNOW
    Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    You've got that fancy THX logo ;) . From some of the guys from here that post over there...there's either no difference or there is in that the (X) amp was unmodded for the tube-like sound to meet THX specs. I don't know which. Either way...nice amps.

    Anyone on a budget should consider carver amps.Good value all around and won't cost an arm and a leg to fix if something were to happen.Enjoy!!
