Tearing down the computer rig for a variety of reason's. My brother most likely is taking the Nakamichi reciever. I'm keeping the AMC dac for future use, so the Athena's need to find a home.

Very competent compact bookshelf speaker. Black Ash, silver baffle and black grills.

5 1/4" Mid-woofer
Tetron dome tweeter.
Rear port

I am the original owner and bought them new. Retail $150. I have the box and packing. Less than a year old. Like new, no scuffs, scratches, etc.

$70 shipped to your door (CONUS) price reduced

    Link to a review.

These are on par with the Polk R-15's although I think they sound a bit smoother and the vocal presentation is better. That's where these things really excel is vocal's.

    Specs:

    5 1/4" Poly woofer w/rubber surround
    1" Tetron dome tweeter
All MDF cabinet-3/4" thick front baffle
Full 5-way binding posts (no cheap spring clips)
    Magnetically shielded
90 dB sensitivity-125 watt power handling
    60Hz-20KHz +/- 3dB
    8 Ohms
    13.75"H x 7"W x 9.5"D
    14 lbs per speak

    Happy looking

Bump for the weekend. If I don't move these they will go in the closet. Nice sounding little speakers for not a lot of $$$. It's a shame to put 'em away in a closet.

    $70 shipped CONUS

    Thanks for looking.
