Elemental Designs HT Subs!
So I saw a thread over at AVS on a sub-$300 sub...I looked inside and what did I find?
A company I had known to make solid car subs has created an HT sub out of their own driver to create some supposedly impressive results.

I was looking to snag a sub and decided to plunk down the dough to get one of the low-end A2s. Will report back in a couple weeks once I've had it and broken it in a bit.
Just thought I'd post and see what you all thought. Should be an interesting experience. The one of the guys in the company has the A2-250 and he said he gets 100 or so dB at 15hz in his 12x15 room. Seems impressive...but then again I've never had a sub that could even hit 20 with any amount of authority.

The thing that has always impressed me about them is their low box volume needs. If I recall their 12" (rather 13", stupid non-conformists) only require 1 cf of room for proper working and they still pump out decent spl. Wouldn't be surprised if they made a decent ht sub, it is after all the understandable leap... esp. since their gear has dual 2-ohm voice coils which you can run at a happy 4.Lovin that music year after year.

The subs look like a good value, but somethin' ain't quite right about a sub with the intials E.D. for a guy staring 50 in the face.:D
