Just this year:

A-was able to get a great deal on used LSI-7 speakers from the FM

B-I started a post about the fact that I wanted to build my own sub.
After mountains of valuable information being volenteered from many
members, I was offerd an SVS 12.1 plus driver at a rock bottom price that
I would never of found was it not for a member of this site.

C- If that is not proof enough of the goodness of our members. After looking
into a member's discount for the midock. brett22 has made the generous
offer to send me his!!!!!!

I find myself actually lookng forward to getting the chance to help a member as I have been helped and made to feel part of something.

Glad to have you aboard MSALLA
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. This forum. A great group of people. I have gotten help when I had a blown tweeter, Thanks doro. I had good karma, a kenwood receiver offered by faster100. I bought an adcom gfa 555 from htrookie, he even sent the amp out before he had the money for it. And last but not least, snow has offered me a gfp 555 for the price of shipping, and a set of interconnects from what I have just recently read.

This is an awesome group of people we have here.
Once I get firmly planted on my feet I will be making my offerings to the group. Club Polk is more like a family, not just some internet forum filled with name calling and the likes.

Polkies rock. Need I say more.

Well, at least it's not Philadelphia. From what I understand, that would actually be worse.

Yes, some of you guys should stop doing that. :o
Pretty nice, I think, that opinions are offered, from scoop to nuts, from mild to laser hot, from total agreement to total opposition in one forum, and in another forum the same "combatants" will share audio information unaffected by a separate disagreement.
    That is unusual, very unusual.

And the folks at Polk: kudos were given for their unparalleled customer service, and kudos can also be given for how they run Club Polk. It would be more accurate to say, I guess, for how they allow it to run itself.
That is also very unusual. Pretty darn classy in both instances. For reference, log on to the Bose site and register. A total difference like night and day, or good and evil.

And, in spite of myself, I'm learning. You guys are learning me good. :)

Oh.....if nothing else...... that GD "Pull Over" post by DisneyJoe. :D

I'm very thankful for this forum. Every move I've made, (since I found that the audiophile, particularly the analog industry, was alive and well) every purchase made, was helped along by the members of this forum. Members are more than willing to share their knoweldge, experience, and opinions in detail. This is the only forum I belong to. . . the others I've checked out seemed like all crappola to me.

The thing I like most about this forum is that in one thread a member won't hesistate to tell you to go **** in your hat, and in another thread go to great lengths and detail to help you with an issue.

Great place, I'm glad I am part of it.

The best things about this forum and its members have nothing at all to do with audio/video equipment. It all happened on an audio forum is the only tie-in.
