    I could swear I reviewed this for the newspaper... I gotta hunt around... Huh. I guess not. This was the one about the "lifeforce" thing? Or was that the FINAL FANTASY humbug? Whatever, I think TITAN was kinda cool from what I recall, but it was that ice field scene (chapter 17?) that really made an impression: what a great sound, like slowly crunching styrofoam in an echo room or something, with loads of trembling bass. Worth a rental, especially if you dig animated stuff. But no great shakes movie-wise. It won't change your life.

    titan AE is the dude and chic flying around in the ghetto ship sending mad bass waves in the ice fields. The animation is no metropolis but it's suffice. There's also chapter 18 or 19 where it'll rattle you some more.
