what games should I get? That was a great heads up Toka! Many thanks!

I'm hearing:

GOW, COD3. I love FPS. Any other must haves to put my shiny new toy through its paces???:D

Edit: And any idea where the cheapest places to get them online are? Geez, GOW is over 60 bucks !

Prey, Dead Rising, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and the upcoming Rainbow Six: Vegas would be my can't lose suggestions.

GRAW, both the CODs, Prey was pretty good, DOA4 looks incredible, but its a fighter and not everyone likes it.

You need the first COD even if you get the second?

You don't NEED it, but I think both are worth playing.

Great! Thanks. That's more than enough to get me started. I think I'll start with GOW and COD3 and work my way down. Maybe check out DOA4 for eye candy. If I got everything at once, it'll cost more green than I laid down for the box in the first place  :D.

Happy to help! GOW is 'the' game for the 360 right now, in terms of intensity and presentation. Not a pure FPS obviously but it'll scratch that itch. I would recommend checking out some of the free demos on Live (they have Rainbow Six: Vegas, COD2, Prey, F.E.A.R, etc.) and then decide from there.

Did not even know they had these. Thanks. I assume they have some way of transferring your old live account...

I think so...I didn't have Live on the old Xbox but I'm sure there is some way to do it. When you are on check out the 'Marketplace' menu, the demos are in there.

Yes, you can still use your Live account from the first Xbox. IMO, the 360 without Live is a crime.

Absolutely! If you haven't played it on the PC you owe it to yourself to play it on the 360.

Ok, F.E.A.R.'s on my list. Stopped by Target yesterday and picked up GRAW (They didn't have others I wanted.). I must say, I'm very impressed with HD gaming so far. There's such a difference switching between Halo 2 and GRAW. And all the LIVE stuff is just amazing. It's gonna take me a while to get through all the options and stuff. The downside is a lot of it takes money, or points  ...
