I don't hear much about these little floorstanders. Anyone have any they listen to on a regular basis? I'm curious whether lifting the off the floor has a positive side and if they might be a good match for 20 to 30 watts of tube amplification.

The question now is whether to use these with a Sansui 661 for my mother-in-laws retirement apartment or perhaps a small Yammahopper (R300?) receiver. Hmmm....

I have the S8s with 100 watts of power per speaker(Sony TA-F500ES integrated). They're on Wood Technology stands and they sound great off the floor.

These were moved to replace a set of Monitor 4s in my daughters room. She has a Pioneer SX-650 receiver, quite nice. The Monitor 4s make great outdoor speakers, although they don't sound as good after it rained.
