How many watts would you suggest to run the Rti 10's or RTI 12's?

Which Rotel amp or receiver would you suggest?

for the 12's i would suggest the biggest amp you can find ( at least 300 watts of good power per channel). I wouldn't use a receiver with either of them.
    Speakers: LSi9 x 2, LSic, LSiFX x 2, Velodyne HGS-15
    Amps & Power: Rockford Fosgate T8004 x 3, Cascade Audio APS-55 power supplies x 5, and 1 farad capacitor.
    Electronics: Denon 3806, Toshiba HD-A1, & Sony KDL46XBR2
Accessories: Anti-IC interconnects, 8 Mondo Traps from Realtraps, and Salamander furniture.

I think you will get response on both. Personally I have never owned outlaw, but did own Rotel at one time and was satisified.

So if I was to get a 500X2 Potel amp it would be overkill.

NO!!!! There is no such thing as overkill when it comes to powering big speakers!!! Those RTI's will sing like canarys with all that power!

My speakers are being powered by 405wpc & they all love it & so do I!

Would this work for home theatre hooked up to a Denon 7.1 receiver?

Yes it will. And I personally preferred the RB1092 500wpc 2 channel over the 1077 100wpc 7 channel. Those extra 400 wpc made a BIG difference!

I have RTi10's and I'm getting the Outlaw 7700 delivered today. I can't wait to finally throw a little more power at them than what the receiver has been. After I purchased the 7700, I noticed some big power amps going for almost the same amount on Audiogon. Very tempting, but I'll stick with 200 wpc for now.

Outlaw and Rotel amp would be just fine. You might consider B&K amps. I found B&K calms down the silk tweeters a lot and make music more natural. Some members feel B&K's are to lean back amps. I found them to be very nice with Rti’s series and you can listen to music for extended periods with less fatigue.

Thanks for your help. One question I am thinking about buying a Outlaw 200X7 or Rotel 200X5 amp. Now I know this is perfect for the fronts, is this too much power going to the surrounds and center?

Again, NO. ALL of my speakers all of which are 8ohms are being pushed with a405wpc 5 channel amp. The clarity that is now coming from ALL of them is simply outstanding!
