I just watched this yesterday as I babysat my 3 little nephews, I put it in the system and watch them sit pretty still eating popcorn and drinking juice. The movie was great and the SQ & PQ was really nice on the HDTV Plasma. Kids love this movie and the sound effects even scared the little one once or twice. If you got little ones this is one to watch.

Will adults like it, too, or is it basically for children? I was thinking of renting this one.

I saw it at the theater and I liked it. It's not just for kids: There's a fair amount of adult-level humor and a good story line that keeps you involved. I think there were a few inside jokes thrown in for Nascar fans, too, but it's been a while since I saw it and I can't remember specifics.

It is the movie Doc Hollywood with animated cars instead of Michael J. Fox.....

All in all, it is pretty well done.

Tyoical Pixar quality, which is to say, excellent. My two 3 year olds loved it in the theater, and we just picked up the DVD.

My favorite Pixar movie so far.

I thought it was a fun movie. Sometimes it's just nice to watch a movie without having to get involved in it.

I liked it. Couldn't find any other new releases at the movie store last week, so I rented it and watched it that night (great SQ, BTW). Then the gf wanted to watch it the next night, so had a second viewing and didn't mind it a bit.

Good story, reasonably funny, very impressive picture quality and sound quality for system-minded peeps.

I just got the joy of seeing little kids enjoy the movie and the rig, the movie was very good, I went out yesterday and brought 3 copies 1 for me and the others for the kids. Refreshing movie with no sex, offensive language and some decent laughs. I must be getting old.

My wife and 2 girls took me to see the movie in the theaters for Fathers Day. We got DVD last Friday and I think I have seen it in total 5 times.

I think it is a really well done movie. My 2 year old starts belly laughing anytime Mater is on screen. I think Mater stole the show.

And yes the PQ and Audio is excellent.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Just watched it last night. I'm a big Pixar fan, and they didn't disappoint.

My favorite thing about this movie was some of the voice cameos. The two I got the biggest kick out of were the Car Talk guys, "Click and Clack", as the Rust-eze sponsors, and Jeremy Piven playing the agent - any of you Entourage fans will know why that was awesome. :D
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
