WTB: a dinky little sub for my computer system.

I have a small setup using a sonic impact amp and some bookshelf speakers but I just cant stand not having bass any longer. The catch is I'm moving in 6 or so months and as a result this sub will probably get left behind...I'm looking for an almost disposable sub of any kind to sloppily fill out the bottom end of my setup.

Wish I was still in Chicago, forgot to update my profile. I've since moved to New Orleans!

Moving in six months? Try to live without it or get the small SVS and take with?? Also try some local thrift stores/yardsales.

Yeah I've put up with 3 months of bass-less music and I think I just need something!
Yeah I'm thinking about just upping the budget to 400 or 500 and getting the SVS or D-10/12 Sunfire sub out there right now.
I'm leaning toward the sunfires since they're nice and small! -
I just noticed this sub is for a computer rig. The SVS might be overkill. The Dominator by Bob Carver is available at AA. OneCall was cheaper but is now out of stock.

PS - the small SVS is only a few inches bigger. -

Well if I get a new sub, I'll actually be using the heavy hitter for movies and move my other crap sub into the bedroom. -
The Velodyne SPL 800 is a pretty neat, small, powerful and good-looking 8 inch sub, although not cheap. The third incarnation of this sub just came out, however, and you may be able to get a good deal on a used SPL 800 series I or series II.

I have a Polk PSW10 for $100, perfect condition.
Also, if you are looking for just your PC, logitech makes some good budget 5.1 and 7.1 packages starting at $50-75.
