I'm sorry, may be I didn't express myself properly. English is not my maternal language, anyway this time I'll try to make myself clear.
Let's say I have a Denon A/V-1907 (85 Watts per channel max output) and a pair of LSi25 front speakers (about 200 watts continuous average output).
So the question is: the signal coming out from the A/V amplifier should be re-amplified before reaching the spekers?
Thanks,
Mauro.

Are you asking if the speakers, themselves, amplify the signal?
edit: Okay, you're asking if you need external amplification....I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore -
Unless your average listening levels are low and lower, I'd strongly advise you pick up an external amp. Otherwise, you'll probably end up damaging your speakers, and most certainly won't be getting the most out of them.I never had it like this where I grew up. That's it. I want to know if I need external amplification.

OK thanks a lot.

Mauro,
Your Denon will make the LSi25's sound, but it is definitely not enough power; those speakers are 4 ohm and need more power. If you just use the Denon, if you play at relatively high volume you might damage the speakers, and/or the Denon will probably go in protection mode.

No. You do not NEED an amplifier. The sound coming out of your AVR is already amplified - to 85 watts per channel. However, if you wanted better sound and really wanted to make your speakers shine, you will buy some external amplifiers. When you do so, you do not re-amplify the signal, but rather connect those new amplifiers to the pre-amp outputs on your AVR.HT/music rig

True; you don't NEED it; just make sure you don't crank that Denon up......until you get an external amp._________________________________________________

Thanks... I knew "danar" right after I replied.
parlantes = speakers... cool, I learned something new today:)

Yeah.. you don't need it. But it could be argued that you might get better sound out of more efficient (and probably, more affordable) speakers if only using the Denon, then attempting to power the LSi's with the same receiver...I never had it like this where I grew up. Thanks everybody. I was just asking cause in the future I might buy others speakers and I wanted to know.
My actual audio set is:
Denon A/VR-1907 (85W x 7 channels)
2 Monitor 60
1 CS2
1 PSW 12
2 Monitor 30
I think it sounds great. Do anyone of you think I should modifie something?
(all the speakers are conected directly to the AVR).
PS: veo que muchos de ustedes hablan muy bien el espa -
