Good to see some non-classical music coming out again on SACD. Too bad I'm not a Genesis fan.

Unless Warner Music Group does a 180, no SACD for the US.

Genesis is signed to Atlantic Records, part of the Warner Music Group, in the US. If the hi-rez reissues are to be released in the US, they will be on DVD-A or DualDisc. Same problem with hi-rez releases of Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits, Depeche Mode, Bjork, etc....

On the other hand, the internet is your friend :D

BTW, you bet I am getting these.

The Handel Water Music is simply outstanding on SACD.

I am introducing a DVD-A player back into the shed rig.

The money boys are always pulling strings. Both these formats sound good to me I just wish there was one and everyone would concentrate on making it the best but that is a pie in sky wish. Hi-Rez and Vinyl to an even greater extent are constantly gaining ground in their market, yet the scrambling for dough, manipulation of the buyer, is enough to make me just want to throw the players in the damm garbage can.

I would absolutely love Foxtrot and The Lamb on SACD, as long as the originals that they were made from were of good quality. I like those two albums.
    Ludicrous gibs!

CD-Universe.com wants $43.75 per SACD title. The HMV JP price is a good deal. For now.

I ordered Trick Of The Tail and Wind and Wuthering from cdwow.com for 17.95 a piece

you will need an all region to play the ones from them though as the dvd portion of the set is PAL..

otherwise I would wait a bit as lasercd.com will have the ntsc versions at a very good price

cant wait for the early Peter Gabriel ones though as TOTT and W & W were the only good post Gabriel albums..after Hackett left Phil Collins took them into the crappy world of commercial pop

I believe Google Checkout is like a Paypal account. Since I already have a G-Mail account with Google, when I finished ordering from CD Universe, it asked me to log in with my Google ID. Then it asked me to enter my credit card info. Once I done that, Google Checkout applied a $10.00 discount to my pre-sales tax subtotal.
