Too much stuff laying around this joint...

Offered for your enjoyment is a classic NAD 2200 PE amplifier built in the 1980's. This is better than the basic 2200 as it improves upon the Power Tracker technology with Power Envelope. Super amp with a ton of headroom. Will easily power your tough loads. Essentially the same power section found in the 7600 receiver I was easily powering my large SRS's with before moving to the Anthems.
Can be run in stereo or mono. I have never run it in mono and doubt it has ever been run as such based on the setup if was previously used on. I have owned this for a year and a half but have never used it other than testing to see if it works, so it has even less time than expected. Also, the man that owned this has a sedate LP collection (Billy Joel, etc.) so I doubt he ever really pushed it to the limits.

100wpc@ 8ohms, 400wpc bridged mono, 6 DB headroom! Read the manual and you will discover that 100 wpc is super conservative due to the efficient design. http://207.228.230.231/info/NAD_2200.pdf

A ton of bang for the buck. If you're looking for some good raw power, look no further. NAD will underwhelm you with the looks and overwhelm with performance.

Recommended by Doro and many others on this forum.

Condition: Very good. A few minor scratches on the top edge. Non-smoker, 2nd owner. First owner was an Opthamologist who also owned my perfect condition SRS's and the 7600.

$299.00 shipped. PM here first.

If I pack this, you will receive it in one piece, damage free. Pictures to follow. Here's a link to Doro's sale of a 2200.

I had a couple of those pass through the house last winter, and they are very nice amps.

Just about the same as the 2400 I own. It beats up on amps twice its size.
Buy this thing before I decide to bi-amp!
