Monster House

Let me just say this: Steven Spielberg's new animation flick was flat out amazing. My wife and I rented it two days ago, popped it in, not expecting much. It pleasantly surprised. We invited the rest of the family over tonight and watched it again! It was better the second time. Even though it's about kids, not really a younger kids flick. They would probably get pretty scared.

Excellent plot, a straight up "A+" for originality and great wit throughout. I was really impressed. Break outta the original, and buy this one. Really, it was that good.

EDIT: I forgot to mention how impressive the SQ was. My house was shaking from the Bass, and I don't even have the coveted SVS! I can only imagine how impressive it would be with one of those bad boys...

I have heard from other sources as well about how your audio system will get a great workout with this movie. I have been meaning to pick it up but have not gotten around to it yet.

Yep, once the house starts moving, my house started moving from the SVS. Definite workout for the sub in that sequence.

Just finished, an ok movie. A/V was great which anymore with films like this, it should be. A good one time rent, nothing more.

Just goes to show how different one's tastes can be. I will be adding it to my collection. Ron thought it was just ok.
