Long Lost Sda 180 Degree Sound Found

I have had my SDA SRS for 20 yrs. and could remember the 180 degree sound field you were surrounded by. However, I lost that quality over the years as they were moved to different homes and different rooms within my home.
I remembered an old post here in the last month that I had read that said your ideal listening position was approx. equal to the distance between the two speakers. Mine are 6 1/2 ft. apart measured to inside cabinet wall, but I had been listening about 13 ft. away. I can't move the speakers any further apart, so I moved up my recliner to 7 ft. front center of the speakers. Boy, what a difference!!! Unfortunately, it puts me in the middle of the living room and I will have to move my chair when company calls, but when we're alone, I'll pull my chair into that position and will be in "Command of the Starship Enterprise of Speakers!!!"
Thanks for helping me find a long lost friend.

The worst of it is when you get the company you'd rather drown out anyway.

Awesome,I have a zero gravity chair I pull out and lean back in to that "perfect" spot and drift away...Nothing quite like the sweet spot of a pair of SDA's
