Home Theater in Attic Recommendations

I am in the early stages of converting an unfinished walkup attic into a HT / Playroom. I have been researching speakers for a while now, and I would like your comments. The room is going to be 14Wx20Lx8H. I would really like a 7.1 system with front & center speakers in the front wall of the HT, and the 4 surround speakers in the ceiling. The SW will probably be located on the floor in the front / right area.

Here is what I have come up with so far………

FL & FR – RC85i’s
Center – TC265i
SL, SR, RL & RR – RC80i’s
SW – PSW303

How do this In-wall/In-ceiling speakers really sound?

How will this sound for HT movies?

How will it sound for music?

For reference, I currently have a HT in a 14x15x9 den. It is an RM6200 system with a Pioneer VSX-D710S AVR (100W x 5), and I would have to say that I think it sounds excellent for movies & very good for stereo music. I don’t like any of the soundfields used for music (Hall, Theater, etc.). It sounds cheap and echoee (sp?) to me.

I would like to get something that sounds at least this good, and hopefully a little better for the new Attic HT.

I will need a new AVR, so recommendations on that would be great. I am currently looking at the Pioneer VSX-1016TXV-K.

I am hoping to spend ~$1,000 for the speakers & ~$500 for the AVR.

Thanks in advance for your comments!!
