Anyone know anything about this CD Player?

Just got this CD player (sounds great actually, but I won't compare with current models as I haven't heard one recently) for around $40, reads CD-R's and enhanced Cd's that some car's Alpine was slow to read. By any chance, does anyone here ever used this player or know a little more about it, like how it was against other CD players back when it was new?

FPCS (Fine Pulse Conversion System) we have adopted for the digital filter, smooth corrugated reappearance power is actualized by the fact that computer image processing technology is applied.
By the way, aside from the Japanese link, all links that google gave me were in Japanese; and the unit is 100v so Im beginning to think it was a Japan only unit.
