The third post:D I've always wanted to go that extra mile when I first built my room but the better half would not let me for the simple fact that we do not plan on being in this house a year or so down the road. Once we find the land we want and I design and build the next house, maybe then.

I prefer simplicity, so I like #11 the best. Nevertheless, none of them compare to my HT system.

Just bought a pair of $100 speakers that'll blow away any speaker in the $20K range.:D

I like the looks of #7, the Tuscany layout. Those seats don't look too comfortable, however.

If you had the room, it's amazing what one could accomplish rather cheaply if you're handing with the tools.

No one those showcased systems, btw, can even begin to compare with my Onkyo-based HT. Not even close.

If I had that kind of money to dump on HT, you can rest assured, I wouldn't spend any of it ON HT, or a visit to Filthadelphia.

Awful lot of good things can be done with that kind of money.

I agree with you 100%. The amount of people you could help with that kind of money is amazing. In one of my latest Golf Digest magazines they show Stuart Applebee and all his cars, with his favorite being his $250,000 Lamborghini. I wonder how much money he donates to good causes?
