Tell me about them:)
Here (Norway) very few people have any experice with them.

how do they do compared to other subs in that price range??

My plan is to have two of them on a Soundtream REF1600.2
And the SR6500`s on a Soundstream REF800.4
Alpine 9855R
2* Genesis Four channel
Hertz mille 1600
Hertz mille 280
Hertz HX 250

I havent heard one yet so I cant say for sure. I havent been into my local Tweeter in a month or so and last time I was in they didnt have any.

Still, judging by how good the SR6500's are I feel pretty confident saying theyre going to rule.

From what I understand, they were designed to compete with JL's W6 so I would assume it would sound similar.

i have two of the sr12-dvc. they do have a sound similar to the jl w6 but with more output and way better power handleing. they also sound like the alpine type-x. very tight and detailed sound. i might say that the type-x has a little more detail, but not by much. i love both subs. i have my sr12's being driven by a 1500 watt amp @ 1 ohm and they SHAKE the car. great subs.
