Has anyone heard whether or not capitol will ever release any of the Beatles catalog on SACD or DVD-A? I think Sgt. Pepper or Revolver would be amazing, and I would be willing to bet there are many more like me out there that would buy them up in a hurry. Any thoughts?

Would love to see it happen (as would many others I would imagine), but have heard nothing about it. Be sure to keep us posted :D
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I can't wait for that to happen. I can only listen to them from a distance right now.

Maybe when that prevert, MJ sells his share of the music rights we'll see the catalog released in hi-rez.

That is probably the hold up. If he is as strapped for cash as they claim he is, he's probably looking to get rich again off the deal.

In the meantime if you want Hi-Rez Beatles there is always vinyl.:D

There are even audiophile pressings from the original metal. LINK!!!

On November 21st the Beatles are releasing a cd from the Cirque 'Love'
show. It also has a special edition which has a dvd audio with a hirez 5.1 mix.
Rumors are rampant that 2007 will bring remastered Beatles cd's and possibly
dvd audio or sacd's. If this 'Love' dvd audio sells in big quantities it should kick start Apple to get off their duff. In the meantime you can hear
4 of the songs from the love show at www.beatles.com.
Just got back from Vegas and saw the Love show. The music is incredible,
I've never heard Beatles music sound so good.
