This morning at 11 am I have an interview for an Interim mgmt position. I'm nervous as heck as I have not had to be interviewed in 5 yrs. All my promotions have been offered to me. My mind is all over the place. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Along with positive good vibes...

Thanks

JF

Good luck Willow. Stay calm and go in with the attitude that YOU need to evaluate whether this is the right job for you, not the other way around. You will do fine my friend. Be confident and give them hell. You would not be at the interview stage unless things were right. Good Luck.

Answer the questions & keep the conversation going. We're in a big hiring phase & I've done about a dozen interviews recently- you'd be amazed how many people just ignore the question, or can't get more than two sentences out in a row.

Ok so it went very well, they complimented me by saying I interviewed very well. Everything they discribred in terms of qualities and attributes was me. I will find out Friday or Monday.

    thanks

    Good job Willow!

    Keep us updated
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

As much as I would prefer this position, the same day I submitted my resume I was asked to facilitate another training session. So in the end I don't lose..

thank you everyone for your support and encouragement

Alright, so... I didn't get that particular position. Which is ok, the person who did get it, is a friend and if it were not me chosen she is the next best. With that said, I was offered two positions the same morning this past Monday. I had 20 mins to decide which one I wanted. I start my new position on next Tuesday. I am hoping I made the right choice...lately my choices have not been the best.....my mind has been all over the map.
But all in all I won't be doing what I'm doing now which is good !

My Aunt was placed in a similar position to decide in 15-20 minutes and it turned out to be the right choice. I hope it works out for you!
