Well, yesterday, I sent one of my Lsi25's off to Polk repair in San Diego. I measured and cut off pieces of another box and double-walled the inside of the speaker box and wrapped the speaker in two layers of bubble wrap to try and ensure safe passage. UPS picked it up at my house. I can only hope it arrives safely. I have not been able to listen to music in 2 weeks and I'm going nuts. I just hope the repairs it needs don't take too long. I'll feel better once I know it's arrived at Polk. Thank goodness for internet tracking!

What was the problem with it?

Let's be optimistic, I'm sure everything will be just fine.

The right channel speaker was sending my amp into protection mode. Polk customer service said it was probably a bad crossover. I guess I'll find out for sure soon enough!

Well, I just checked the UPS website and my speaker is now in the loving hands of the Polk Audio Service Department. I cant wait to listen to tunes and movies again in their full glory. To anyone who has ever sent speakers in for repair; how long was the turnaround time?

    To long I would Guess.

I blew a driver once. Called customer service and they said send it in. I drove over to Polk headquarters and they gave me a new driver on the spot.

Very good people to deal with. This was probably @ 1994.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

They were prompt when I sent my Lsi 7's in, I heard back from them the next buisness day.

I don't think it'll be too long... though any day without music is "too long" in my book ;)
