I was worried about finding a frame for a album that my sister used to have when she was a teenager. When I checked at Target, I was shocked to find this one specifically made for albums. I put the cardboard back on for transporting it on the plane. I see they're available online at a few places as well. I can't seem to post a pic right now.

I'm not surprised Wal-mart is a little cheaper. -
If you have a "Micheal's" in your area, they go on sale just about every other week for $4.99 - they are the ones I use anyway....

Thanks I did think $9.99 was a bit pricey but was willing to pay it this time. -

Ha ha Demi, thanks. Aren't you the member here that was praising My Morning Jacket awhile ago? If so, I was wondering which album, I've got one song by them and love it but I can't afford too many CDs.God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8 -

I've been thinking of getting some of these. Is it easy to get the albums in and out of them or do you pretty much have to make a decision and leave them in?

Edit: I noticed that last link looked easy, hadn't clicked on it yet when I posted. I'm guessing it is easier than the ones in the other links.Vinyl, the final frontier...

Can one put an album cover with LP still inside into one of these thingies "safely"?
-
Yes, they are relatively easy to get open and closed - and you can have the LP inside the cover. I picked mine strictly for cover art that I liked, or found unique. That being said - I have a 2nd 'playable' copy of each that I framed so I can leave them on the wall.

more info...yes there are clips on the back for relatively easy opening and closing. The frame I bought is plastic so if you want a better one, you'll have to spend a little more money.
