LSIC Power question
Im going to start my system witht the center to replace my csi245. I see that the LSIC is rated at 200 watts is that max or rms?

Really it's "Nominal", but I really can't think of a reason why the power rating would matter, unless you want to know the max db's you can hit in your room... which would say that the LSi line is not for you.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19

Im conceren with over powering it . I know that imight sound funny but i was thinking 125 rms.
-
typically I would consider it min. (or nearly so)
In all honesty, the more the better with the LSi series and current is much more important than watts. (just less advertised in most amps)
Why, what are you planning to run it with?

Overpowering a speaker is almost never an issue. Speakers almost always blow as a result of underpowering and if your 125 watts are coming from an AVR, that's what your concern should be.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19

Michael
Edit - I would go with the 6000 if they are the same price. If you do go with the 2535, be sure to check if it can bridge a 4 ohm load before you try to do it. If the amplifier is not stable into a 2 ohm load, you will not be able to bridge it at 4 ohms without having problems. Just wanted you to be aware of that potential issue. They do look like nice little amps though (and available at a good price).

what about 125 bi amped at 4ohm adcom 5300 for 190
-
dont bi amp anything (but go ahead and replace the brass jumper with speaker wire), just get the biggest amp you can afford that has the largest power supply and biggest transformer. You will need lots of current to make the lsi speakers sound there best.Speakers: LSi9 x 2, LSic, LSiFX x 2, Velodyne HGS-15
Amps & Power: Rockford Fosgate T8004 x 3, Cascade Audio APS-55 power supplies x 5, and 1 farad capacitor.
Electronics: Denon 3806, Toshiba HD-A1, & Sony KDL46XBR2
Accessories: Anti-IC interconnects, 8 Mondo Traps from Realtraps, and Salamander furniture.
