RTi10 Owners... need your help

I recently upgraded from Monitor 70's to RTi10's. I must say that I'm very impressed with the added detail, clarity and tighter bass. However, the tweeters are a bit too bright for my taste- especially when listening to female vocals, flutes, and some electric guitar, etc. I enjoy listening to my music loud, but find that now it is too uncomfortable to tolerate with these higher frequencies.

To help tame the tweeters I've adjusted the treble to -10 which has helped. I've also removed brass jumpers and replaced with speaker wire. My next move is to upgrade to some decent Bi-wire speaker cable from Signal cable then get a 2-channel amp.

What warm sounding used amp would you recommend to help tame these tweeters?

I have been there with the too bright. I found that my old Yamaha CD player with some cheap monster interconnects made some music extremely bright. I switched cables to some better monster interconnects I had and it helped some. I found using my Sony DVD player with a digital connection was much better. No digital option on my CD player.

The bottom line is the RTi-10 is a bright, revealing speaker. I am a 90% HT/TV and 10% music person so they work very well in my application. I am also thinking about adding an amp and have been leaning towards B&K or Parasound. Is this a music only system or HT/Music?

I think I am going to go with some Outlaw 2200's for mine. But the SVS is first.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D
