Adcom GFS-6 w/SDA SRS 2.3

I bought an Adcom GFS-6 speaker selector on e-bay a while back and just got around to hooking it up recently. I have SDA SRS 2.3's on the 1st speaker selector option, a pair of RT35i's (patio) on the 2nd, a pair of RT15i's (garage) on the 3rd, and a pair of RT25I's (bedroom) that I just won on e-bay this morning will be on the 4th selector soon.
I noticed that with the balance control shifted to the right speaker, the left speaker still has about 30% volume and vice versa. Is this because the GFS-6 is malfunctioning, or does it have something to do with the SDA effect from the 2.3's? Anyone else out there use a speaker selector with your SDA's?

Sorry, I didn't word this correctly. I know the 2.3's will still have sound out of the opposite speaker, but should the other speakers connected to the speaker selector do the same? I'm having this problem with the speakers connected to the 2nd and 3rd speaker selector outputs.Polk collection:

I don't have any experience with a speaker selector device, but I wouldn't think it should be doing what you are describing.Political Correctness'.........defined

Thanks for the replies. I unplugged the SDA cable and nothing changed so I just ran the speaker wires directly from the receiver to the speakers. It turns out it is my Sony receiver that doesn't fully shift the sound from right to left. I REALLY need to replace that receiver. I have an Adcom 5500 that I bought a year ago and haven't even hooked up yet because I can't decide which pre/pro to buy. Well, I've narrowed it down to either the Outlaw 970 or 990, but I need to stop buying speakers for the house on e-bay and save cash for the pre-amp so I can get some decent power to those 2.3's.Polk collection:
