Best center channel for SDA2's ?
I just bought a pair of Polk SDA2's and want to get a matching
Polk center channel. The Polk website says the cs400i is the
best match. Does anyone know if the older 400 or the newer
40i would be as good as the 400i? Also does anyone
know a site that is still selling the 400i? Crutchfield was selling
the 400i for $199 a few months back but they are sold out.
Thanks for the info,
Mike

The truth is Polk does not have an exact match for that speaker, they push what ever is the current center channel speaker. Looks like they have not updated the system to show the CS40i or what ever it is. I agree with keeping the same brand, and any of the larger center channel speakers would/will work for you.Dodd - Battery Preamp
Monarchy Audio SE100 Delux - mono power amps
Sony DVP-NS999ES - SACD player
ADS 1230 - Polk SDA 2B
DIY Stereo Subwoofer towers w/(4) 12 drivers each
Crown K1 - Subwoofer amp
Outlaw ICBM - crossover
Beringher BFD - sub eq
Where is the remote? Where is the $%#$% remote!

I am running a DefTech C/L/R 2500 and the match is virtually flawless. Not only is this one of the best centers out there for the money, but it matches up to full range speakers very nicely. I have a pair of the 2.3TL's and if you have the SL2000 tweets it will match up even closer.:)
Here's a great deal on a C/L/R 2002.
