Too many GREAT amps, not doing anything around here, that need to be daily drivers in someones rig.

First up:

Anthem Amp - 1

40 wpc, EL34 push pull. Front end is a pair of 12AU7, and a single 12AX7 - easy biasing, rock solid Hammond transformers, and a simple clean look (black finish). I'll load it with a pair of JAN 5814, and a Tele or Amperex 12AX7. I need to order power tubes - so the buyer can tell me what they want - EH, Ruby, Valve Art or Tesla - and I'll get a matched quad. $old ND13

Jeff Rowland Model 3 Monoblocks

100wpc, stable below 2 ohm. You really can't get any better sand power, unless you start looking at Sim Moon Rocks, or Burmeister and the like. Silver facia, second owner, immaculate sound and condition. Original wood shipping crates included - VERY heavy, very capable amps. $OLD Dave in SC.

McIntosh MC2120

MC 2120

ELECTRICAL: 120w/ch. (240w mono). Response 20-20kHz (+0 -0.25dB). Distortion 0.1%. Noise and hum -95dB. Output impedance 2, 4, 8 and 16 ohms. (1, 2, 4 and 8 ohms in mono). Damping factor 14 or greater. Input impedance 100k. Input sensitivity 0.75v or 2.5v. Headphone impedance: low. Sentry Monitor. Power Guard.

FRONT PANEL: Anodized gold and black panel. Gain controls. Output mode lamps: normal or limit. Power sw: on or off. Headphone jack.

BACK PANEL: Output barrier strips. Audio inputs. AC outlet. Input level sw: 2.5v or .75v. Mode sw: stereo or mono. Power Guard sw: normal or out. Fuse.

SIZE 6"H, 16"W and 14-1/2"D.
Weight 65 lb.
Sold from 1976-1982.
Last retail price $999.00

Optional American Walnut case included, I know it works, hooking it up again shortly to run it hard for a few hours - pics later this eve. $old whitetruk

Just received the amp, double boxed, including the original box and manual. Looks to be in good order, but I did have to watch the Fed Ex dude drop it about 8" when taking it off the truck, but doubt anything was damaged. I'd give it a solid 7.5-8/10 on cosmetics, but will wait till later on to rate the fuctionality, which I'm sure won't be an issue.

Russ, I noticed you sent E34Ls, where do they need to be biased at. What do you think of trying out some KT77s? The manual said they were compatible. I also noticed you sent 12BH7s(?) in place of 12AU7s, which the manual said would increase performance...well, in which way...wpc or SQ??

Can't wait to get it all dialed in tonight and get the trials started for which pair of speakers will get the Anthem for a playmate..along with which pre, if any because the Sheng Ya doesn't need a pre..

I'd bias them right at what the manual states, What does it say again? I forget. The 34L can handle a higher plate voltage, but I've never run them 'hot'.

Yeah, the matched pair of 12BH7's will offer a little more gain, the sq about the same as the JAN 5814's I was going to send you.

Talk to me on the cosmetics, I don't recall anything being wrong with this one.

Nothing major at all. Plus 1 sent to Shackalicious. I'll get er cleaned up , mainly just a little dust, which I'd expect from a tube rollers amp. Plus, I only had about 10 minutes with it before putting it back in the box and taking it home. I'll let ya know how I like it in the next few days. I've got a good feeling about this amp being special with a couple of speakers I have.

Now, if only the delivery fairy would be here today with the LSi9s I bought from Troy...then I'd really be in business.

    What about the KT77s?
