Hello guys!

I have a question for those who have or had owned LSi15's along with SVS subwoofers.

Did you guys have issues with blending them together? Any bass issues, cancelling, or phase problems? What did you guys do to solve this?

I know the room itself has a lot to do with it, just wondering in general if people been having problems with this combination?

First person to come to mind is "Wingnut" I think? I believe she goes by the name of Darla? Please respond, I'm looking forward to your feedback.

Thank you for your time!

I did a room sweep of my bass frequency response and I have a huge peak at about 50hz with a trench on each side of it.

    Here it is...
    attachment.php?attachmentid=6750&d=1105401179

My old AVR I was using for a pre-amp has a fixed crossover at 80 hz. My new Pre/Pro has 40,60,80hz crossovers.

I plan to cross over my LSi15's and LSiC at 60hz and my rear LSi7's at 80hz. (if I only have a global setting, I will cross everything over at 60 and 80hz and run more frequency graphs to see what is producing the best curve.)

I think the 15's work really well crossed over with the SVS sub. What problems are you having with it?

    Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
    Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
    Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
    Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
    Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)

    No problems yet.

The wife just received the speakers today. I'm in Iraq at the moment, and am just curious as to what problems I might encounter when I get home.

I was thinking that the Polk's should blend in well since the SVS subs don't cover the upper region as well.

Glad to hear you're not having any issues. Thanks for the response!

the phase control on the back of the SVS works nicely to correct such issues.

Not on the back of mine - I guess it just depends on the model of sub that you have. (then again, I can wire them backwards - that would be 180 degrees out of phase)

I guess I could try that if I have problems. I do have the the PCU's which have that feature. Just curious if there has been any reported problems with that? Thanks...
