High Definition Antenna's

Hello,
I saw information on Radio Shack's website that in the near future, everyone will need a high definition antenna in order to receive HD programing. I believe this is misleading as I am receiving HD tv using an outside vhf-uhf antenna. Right now I am receiving one channel with others soon to follow. My concerns are this:
I am using my outdoor antenna for both tv and fm Radio stereo reception. Will Istill be able to receive fm stereo broadcasts as well or better then I do now, with a HD antenna?
My equipment consists of a HD plasma tv. The other equipment, receiver, cd/dvd player and satellite receiver are not HD rated.
What is the story behind Radio Shacks claims about HD antennas?

The choice of antenna type is more based on your location relative to the broadcasting locations. There is no HDTV specific antenna. Just UHF/VHF.

Try this site for more info, and for a selector (enter your zip code) to find out what type of antenna would best enable you to receive the channels in your area:

    Emlyn,
My existing vhf/uhf antenna is receiving my local stations clear enough. For some reason, the analog signals are not as clear as when I had a old tv connected. Now that I upgraded my tv, I receive the digital signals clearly. So thats ok. Thanks, you just saved me from wasting my money. The existing antenna has been in service for 30 years. So I'll wait until it breaks before replacing it.

Don't know if you had an HD set before, but analog reproduction is not a priority on HD sets. Your standard def sets of the past likely did a better job at analog signals. My HD set looks great in HD and digital, but analog is so so. There are some adjustments you can make that are suppossed to improve SD a bit, but I'm not familiar with them specifically.
