The intoxicating Smell of this hobby

When I first got my HK635 about 3 months ago, I noticed that it had a funny smell to it when it is on. Never noticed it with my Onkyo though.
Now, I love this smell. If I could describe the smell, I'd say it smells warm like electricity and metal and a hint of sweetness to it.

Congratulations. You have accurately described the smell of the crack of my **** just after unloading a chunky diarrhea full of corn and green peppers.

I must admit - I am impressed and amazed with your apparent level of flexability (I cannot get my nose anywhere near that area). I'm surprized you ever leave the house... :D

Best smell I had was when I first got my ML Vantages (right before the Summits).... and when I put them in my room.. the good good smell of fresh veneer lacquered to perfection.....

    Ahhhh... what a smell.

I'm smelling my Plinius amp... but I smell nothing... though it's very hot temperature-wise! Hmm... smell of something cooking...

I like that warm, dusty smell of old (1950's-era) vacuum tube electronics when they're warmed up and running well.
