Another question bout power

ok i jus got my db 6x9s and 5x7s in and i was wonderin if they cross ova the amp does it take a lot of power away from the subs ?? because i was listenin 2 it and it didnt sound as loud but i wasnt sure ... i think its jus i can actually hear the vocals now instead of mumblin ... any1 help ?

If you had your sub running full range or crossed over too high then you would get more volume but it would sound like crap. If you crossed it over at say 80 Hz then it would be much more musical and not drown out the midrange but it wouldnt be as loud.

i think it sounds good tho but i want more bass in my subs even tho they hit hard enough ... but umm more questions lol ... kinda new 2 this music stuff ... when i get 2 more 12s in my trunk i kno imma need a 2nd battery ... i was thinkin about gettin a yellowtop battery but sume1 told me that i would need more than jus a battery and i would have 2 upgrade sume other stuff ... is this true ?? and im buyin some polk tweeters this week and i was wonderin could I add this set of tweeters 2 my 4 channel amp with 2 other sets of speakers on it or will it sound messed up ?? Im also looking for a new HU because my audiobahn isnt that good and kinda crap and need 2 get more sound outta my speakers ... kno any good ones for a decent price ??? and will sound like realll goood ... thanks

that's not a great idea, unless you have another amp to hook it up to...only four speakers can go into a four channel amp without having to use a crossover. not four pairs. that's gonna sound a little funky and not well.
