Just played this over the weekend and I have to say that this game is kick ****.
Splinter Cell for me as a series has been a huge disapointment. It was boring and just to damn frustrating, but for some reason I think UBI has tried to bring life in the series and I have to say that this game is really damn cool.
The graphics are top notch, they look very realistic with a cartoonish cast/exoskelton on the players. Hard tro explain but the effect is very smooth, and soft.
Gameplay is quite easy. And the camera is right on target and easy to control. Also the gun/guns are ACURATE!! That was the biggest complaint last year. How do you have this special op guy that can do everything except fire a weapon with reasonable accuracy? But they have improved this greatly.

Glad to hear you liked it. I tried to get into the earlier games and I just couldn't do it.

I picked up Splinter Cell at BB last night, and I have to say, having owned all the prior Splinter Cell games, this one is amazing. The sound and picture quality are amazing, in fact, OMG WTF BBQ HOT!!! I am amazed. I love it.

I picked up Chaos Theory about 3 times over the course of 6 months before I got into it, but then it became very enjoyable. I was a a little too used to Metal Gear Solid gameplay, so it took some time to start thinking of the game on its own terms.My Iron Man training/charity blog.

Started playing this last night. Its pretty awesome. The graphics are great. This is a wonderful game to play in surround sound.

How many hours of gameplay did you get out of it? How is the multiplayer?

Probably 36 hours or so, maybe. Then again I am going to go back and re-play it. I managed the best ending on my own, which was a surprise -- becuase you can take the game many different ways.
Multiplayer is lots of fun, IMO, but it's not like G.R.A.W. -

killed this game in 2 nights of playing. I was addicted. Its on my top 3 list of games. The only game this year I liked better was hitman blood money2 CHANNEL
