The Lone Star bottleheads will be meeting at my house on Nov 4th in San Antonio, TX. Weather permitting, I hope to have a third rig setup on the patio. Good mix of tubes, solid state, vinyl, cd, reel to reel, diy, new and vintage.

You will find directions here:

For any of you Polkies that don't know, Luther runs AudioKarma, great guy and great audio forum. I'm sure this would be a lot of fun, make it if you can.

Here are a few thing you will find at this meet:

Manley Labs Stingray. EveAnna Manley liked this picture so much, she put it up on their website. She's even sending some swag to give away.

I just picked up some Roksan Rok One speakers that are really good. Here I was messing around with them, my diy chip amp and an iPod.

    Hello Luther,
Nice photos! Great looking gear! Has Doc said when the pre-recorded open reel tapes might be available?

Beautiful Luther! Love the iPod and chip amp combo. When I added the new cap board to my ST-70 and began checking out the mods, the iPod as a direct source floored me.

Your Bottlehead events are something I dearly wish I could make it to. Have a great time!

If I was heading down to Wurstfest (an awesome time, BTW) in New Braunsfels that weekend, I would pop in to check out that sweet gear. . .but, unfortunately, I won't be making it down until the next weekend.

That stuff looks awesome, and I can only imagine what it must sound like. Great setups. . . almost surreal looking stuff you have there.

I'm the Operations Manager for a high tech network/telecommunications security company. We secure places like hospital districts, insurance companies, banking industry, military bases, no name "companies", UK government and even Wal-Mart. To tell the truth, that pays the bills and most all of my toys are funded by my web design company. That and it's become a self perpetuating hobby, buy, sell, trade, barter, repair, etc...
