Man, what a shocker! Anderson Silva just destroyed Rich Franklin tonight to become champion. That was the sickest muay tai clinch/knees I've seen in quite a while. I just kept saying, "Wow!" and "Holy ****!" :D

    I just heard this! I was really suprised.

    I never thought Franklin was a Matt Hughes or anything, but I still thought would hold on to the title for a little while longer.

    Yeah I'm rewatching it now... WTF? Something was either wrong with RF or he was flat out intimidated. That was not the rich we all know and love. But yeah, he got knocked the F out!

    Those knees to the body just wrecked him. You could see how much pain he was in and the fear was in his eyes.Then it was easy to get the knees to the face/slash kick to the face. I consider Rich to be a favorite going into the fight, but was concerned with it being his first fight back after the 8 month layoff from breaking a foot and hand in his last fight.

    I was hoping it would be on Youtube by now. The UFC's usually are the day after but not long after that.

    That sucked i really wanted Franklin to win. But next month's Hughes Vs. St. Pierre should be great.

    That was actually a pretty impressive fight! Its not often you see Thai Boxing clinches work in MMA.

    I think fireshoes called it, those knees were devestating. the midsection was open and Silva was just able to hammer away. effin OUCH!!
