Need help wiring subs and amps together

I'm doing a DIY home subwoofer. I have 2 8" 4ohm single voice coil subs lying around and i came across a Bash Digital 300 watt amp plate on Parts Express's website. Now it puts out 300watts RMS at 4 ohms. My question is if I were to wire the 2 subs in series, the total ohm load would be 8ohms. Would I be fine running this amp even tho the subs are wired this way?
Yamaha HTR-5490, Polk RT1000I, cs4000i, CS175 and R10 .... and a soon to be SVS 20-39 PCI

I believe Bash produces 'high quality' amps.... used in SVS subs!
I would think you could provide 150watts per speaker, if connected in series. I'm not sure how the Bash Xover filter would work with an 8ohm load, it may be designed for a 4 ohm speaker. You can always use your receiver's Xover filter, if its a problem.
I would call 'Parts Express' and ask them.
I might buy one of these for my passive Yamaha sub I'm presently using now.
Let is know how it works.....

If you wire them in series/parallel it should be a 4 Ohm load.
