Me checking in, too. Instead, I'm preparing for a computer test, (trying to) do a computer lab (write a program), take a test for fitness class, complete the take-home part of my spanish midterm, and prepare what I'm going to say for communion tomorrow.

    *sigh*

I'm here! Was up all night playing computer games, slept 'til 2 this afternoon, have a b'day party to go to for one of my nieces, then it's back here, most likely to work on the motorcycle.

Damn cluster f&^k project at work prevented me from hitching a ride with Noel and accompaning him to PF '06. So, tonight I'm going to raise several glasses to PF '06. It won't be the same, but it's all I can do.

I'm working as many hours as I can so I can pay for Ricardo's 1.2tl's.

Btw...going to see Barbara Streisand tomorrow night at the Bell Center in Montreal. I got the tickets for my wife's birthday.

Got the 3.1tl's doing background music duty at this very moment....Smooth Jazz on right now.....sounds good!

Forget wires and cables. They make NO difference at all. It's all in the cable risers!

    I envy ya!

I used to be into 4 wheeling pretty solid with my trusty little Suzuki Samurai. I always wanted to go to Moab. I bought some of Rick Russel's videos back then and Moab was one of em and it looked just awesome! Not only the trails but the scenery!

Make sure to take lots of pics and post em!

Read this engineers view and test results on cables etc. and you'll never buy a high end IC, speaker, or power cable again.

    http://sound.westhost.com/cables.htm

Ya see my problem is that I love tweaks, cables etc. The more ridiculous it seems the more I want to try it. If it doesn't work or do anything, then I just add it to my collection of "pretty neat stuff" I tried.

I just wrote about this in the "Mapleshade" thread. I'm eyeballing the Totem Beaks reviewed in the October Affordable Audio. I'm starting to drool like Homer Simpson over them!!! Talk about a ridiculous tweak. . .

If you want to see some really screwy cables and ridiculous tweaks check out this site: http://www.mapleshaderecords.com/index.php I want to try them all.

I'm here. Not that anyone cares though. Like everyone else, I've been busy too. Took the Outlaw class car to the track to get some runs in to get ready for Maple Grove on the 28th. The very first run out, it grabbed hard on the slicks and stood up on the rear bumper. Came down hard and screwed up the oil pan, headers and front suspension, blew a tire and broke both shocks. So I was busy putting a Mustang back together.

I'm checking in! I had planned to go. I had some miles available, booked the flight. Then, my contractor who is installing 3 sets of French doors on my house informed me the doors were delivered and he wanted to begin installation on Thursday, work Friday, Saturday and Monday.:( I couldn't leave town with the contractor tearing into my house. Hopefully I'll be able to attend next year.
