May buy SDA1B; what to power them with?

I am a new forum member, but I have been reading for long while to know SDA speakers are usually very good, but I couldnt find anything here on SDA1B specifically.
I saw these on Wash., DC Craigslist (http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/ele/220188417.html) for only $100. If I do get them, what kind of equipment do I need to power them? Is this worth it?
Also, if someone more experienced with vintage Polks wants these, please, dont hesitate to take them. I am very happy with my growing RTi setup, but I thought these may be very good to try, too.
Any advice is appreciated.

Hi V -
If those are 1B's, $100 is a GREAT price. The general rule of thumb is 200w of high current power to get them to really sing.
Good luck!

Go get them.......$100 is a steal, assuming they are in decent cosmetic and good functional condition.
You'll need at least a 200WPC amp (common ground) to make them sing as they should._________________________________________________

I emailed the seller last night and got no response. Great price if they are in good shape and IC is included. I didn't want to drive to VA and fond them all beat to ****. If you are close by, go to the yard sale and check them out. Good luck like everyone else said for that price it's a no brainer.

Chris and HTrookie thank you both, you do think alike . Unfortunately - that's what I was worried about - I don't have 200W of clean power today.

JT, what's IC ? It's quite a drive for me, too. I will email them, and maybe if we generate enough interest, they will give more detail.

It is the SDA cable that connects to the L & R speaker.

Which you can easily make yourself....they have blade-blade connectors that can be found available_________________________________________________

Ok, I did get a response from the sellers now. The speakers are gone - hopefully to a good home :-)
