Ok.. maybe some of you all won't really understand my joy when I found out there is a local Polkie that lives close to me.. but today i made a new friend thru this forum.
I'd like to welcome wantRTA12's to our sometimes crazy place we know and love as Club Polk.
Meeting Brent (wantRTA12's) in person was without a doubt the highlite of my day today. He's a wonderful guy just getting into this insane hobby we all love so much.
He checked out my SRS's, and the HT. I think he was slightly more impressed with the HT than the SRS's, But either way.. i enjoyed spending a hour with Brent talking about audio. I hope many more hours will be spent doing much the same. I finally have a pal to talk with in person about audio.
I only mention this to you all, because there are such few of us Polkies in Spokane and the Northwest.
TGIF!

Glad to hear you have some one near you to share this obsession. Through this site I met a guy LibertyC and we have been swaping cables, sharing music, he even lent me his variac. He is a great guy.
Welcome to the club wantsRTA12's this is a great place to learn some really cool things about our obsession. -
You should live here! Since the Polk factory (and DefTech, too) is here, you can hardly go into a home and not find at least one set of Polks somewhere. I find lots of houses with old monitor series speakers, in homes where you'd never expect them. Glad you had some fun.HT/music rig

Yeah, ditto from me back at you, danger boy! And if your HT thrilled me more than your 2 channel rig, it's only because I've never come close to hearing/seeing such an incredible setup as yours. I was blown away! As for the SRS's, yeah, I feel sorry for you. If you like, you can donate them to this newbie, free of charge!
Thanks again for taking me in. I, too, enjoyed talking with and learning from you and look forward to more of the same. -
Welcome to Club Polk wantRTA12! I'm glad you and DB could hookup! It's really fun when you can share the same interests. Good on both of 'ya!Carl
