There are a lot of people at Polkfest this weekend, so there may not be as many helpful replies as normal.
I don't know much about the Def Tech speakers. They are actually owned by the same parent company as Polk.
Starting Monday or Tuesday of next week, you might be able to get a little more assistance.Tschüss

They are a different sound than Polk. Many would call it a bright sound, compared to the RTi series. There are a few people on this forum that have hadmore experience with them as well.
There are good speakers to be found from the three lines you are considering. Other than the Polk shop, are there otehr places where you can demo the different speakers? You may like something that someone else dislikes, and the other may be true as well.Tschüss
