I'm considering buying a pair of speakers locally, and after reviewing some pics, they certainly have a decent amount of paint chipped off. It's a good deal despite the paint... is there any way to touch this up and make it look okay?

Minwax offers a Black Stain called Ebony # 2718,others,including myself have used a Sharpie or Magic Marker to touch up the black RTi finish.

Yup Black permanant magic marker will make those little chips disappear! You won't know unless you get right up on top of it, or run your hand across it!

Interesting... I was kind of thinking about permanent marker, but I know how sometimes it can leave a glossy almost purple hue to it, so didn't want to risk it without confirmation.
