Where to find carpet spikes

I'm planning on making a set of my own speaker stands and was wondering where I would be able to buy some carpet spikes. I checked Ebay but there's not much to choose from there. The only other place I found online wanted $40 for a set of 4, which is a bit outrageous. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey Ernie! Thanks man, I appreciate it. Just sold the 1Cs on Ebay today. Were you able to get the RTi10s you wanted?

Glad that you got better results using ebay. I just signed up for a Paypal account tonight so I can purchase the Rti10's from Krazymofo24. So I should have those bad boys in my home very shortly. :D

I was thinking about using ebay to try and sell my Monitor 70's - local pick up. I'm a virgin seller on ebay. Does is cost anything? Any tips you could give me about it?

There's a small fee for inserting your auction, then they take a small percentage of the sale price. It's not very much though. That's for a base auction, then they have all kinds of add-ons that make your auction look snazzier for addtional fees if you wanted to purchase some of those too. It's pretty straight forward and walks you through everything. Do some research on other Monitor 70 autions selling or that have sold, or other speaker auctions as well to get an idea of what they are selling for, how they describe their item, what their pics look like, etc. You have my number so feel free to give me a call with any questions. Good luck, those Monitors are nice!

or you can simply goto lowes buy some 3/8ths stainless bolts and go over to the grinder in your shop and spend a little time getem nice and sharp and use some t-nuts ...only different is these are adjustable versus the chrome shine.

However the ones Hearing linked too are impressive ! too say the least .... Ive never seen mine after I tookem out of the package!!!! thats how I ended up doing the latter
