Speaker placement question
I sent this to Polk CS 10 days ago but didn't receive any response. I thought I would try here....
I am considering purchasing several LC265i and LC60i speakers for use as both surround sound speakers as well as stereo music in a bedroom. I have a question on front left & right speaker placement. Please refer to the enclosed PDF document. The drawing is to scale (0.5" = 1ft).
I will have an LCD Television screen slight offset to the left of the viewers/listeners (seen as circles on the bed in the diagram). I can then place the LC256i's at either positions A&B or alternatively, A&C. Which would be best in terms of both music and surround sound? The information on your web site would seem to indicate A&B (just on either side of the screen), but I had always thought that for music it would be better in A&C (further apart).
By the way, I am not attempting to show the center channel speaker, or any of the surround speakers in the diagram (in case that wasn't obvious).
Thanks for your help,
-Tom
