Hello,

Can somebody help with which amplifier should I purchase with the Polk Audio RTi 10s? I was looking at the Marantz 7001. Please give me your opinion.

Also do you think the RTi10s are good of listening to trance & house music since thats the primary kind of music I listen.

From what I understand, there are lots of well-performing amps. Check out www.audiogon.com to find some good deals. You'll want 200wpc minimally.

Keep in mind that many of the recordings for techno suck. I'd say half of my techno cd's can not be played on my house system. It sounds fine on the factory stuff in the car(I will be replacing). But you will hear all the imperfections with amps in your price range.

I have 8's with a sub so I can not comment on the 10's low end.
