I just paid $800 for the RM6900 series two months ago at Fry's.
At the time it was the best price around including online.
Now Fry's is selling them for $500.
I'm NOT happy!

I thought Polk R50's at Frys for $69 each was a clearance sale, but last Friday I saw the R300's, which are too new to be reviewed on the Polk site, advertised for $59 each.

Are any of these "R" speakers any good or are just something built in China that Polk slapped their logo on so they had product at the bottom level in the market, but they have have a high list price (R300 @ $399.95/pair and R50 @ $639.95/ pair) to fool unspecting customers to think they are getting a steal.

It does look like Polk rarely allows the LSi's and RTi's to be discounted from MSRP as these are the product Polk's reputation is based on.

Call me a fool, because I fell for it.
Really not happy about the sound either.
I'm using an Onkyo 7.1 receiver.
